Here is the problem I am having. I recorded PS3 gameplay via a dvd recorder and finialized the disc. I can play it in VLC on my laptop with no problem. I used handbrake to convert it to an avi, but I cannot find a program to edit it with. I tried WAX, but had no success. I am looking for a a freeware as I am just planning on cutting some parts out, I am in no need of special effects and all that jazz... CAn anyone tell me a decent problem to edit these with that are free? I am running Windows 7 on my laptop. Any help wuould be greatly appreciated.

Virtualdub / VirtualdubMOD works too (for avi), don't got to install either. it's in a zip archive and just have to take out the folder. You can save the segments you want and put them all together. But don't know if it's compatible with 7.
