  1. my notebook is a compaq evo n400c, when l l try to connect it to my flat crt tv through the RCA video(yellow) port at the back of the notebook, the image is "messed up" to the point it is unwatchable, however the compaq logo and the windows ME logo at the start is normal, it is when after entering the windows that everything is dissorted, l try to lower my pc resolution to 640x480, and it still doesnt help, so what is the problem?

    Which inputs does the "flat crt tv" support?

    Which outputs are available on a Evo N400c? You may need a dock.

    I see nothing but VGA out.

  3. there is a RCA video(yellow) port at the back of the evo n400c that your digram doesnt show, the yellow port should be supported by any tv on this planet, l have tried to connect the n400c to one of the display lcd tv in a nearby electronic appliance shop, the same thing happened, the compaq and windows logo are ok, but after entering the windows, everything messed up.....

    What is the display chipset?

    This thing is still using WinME per your computer details?
