Edting DVD high qualty

Hello,

I,m sorry if this qeustion is asked somewhere, I tryed search and google. But I need some specifick info

I need to edit, a bleuscreen take into a existing dvd.

I ripped the dvd using DVDshrink,

Whats the highest qualty compression I can get when Im editing in AE? Its only a minute of video I need to edit so file size ist a problem, Im using a PC

And which conversion software is best to use for this.

Convert to uncompressed avi or dv-avi. Cut out the clip using dvd shrink in the reauthoring mode and then load the vob in for example avidemux or xvid4psp.
