    Newbie here - If useing DVD2MPG Squeezer, how many gigs of hard drive space will it take to rip a 1 hour plus movie ? For instance, Casablanca is 1 hour and 2 minutes long.. how many gigs will DVD2Mpg Squeezer use to rip the DVD ?

    Does the use of the XING MPG Encoder ADD more files to the hard drive ? OR does this software work from the SAME files that were added when useing the DVD2Mpg Squeezer ?

    I guess, what I'm really asking is how many total gigs do I need to have free in my hard drive to complete the process of ripping the cd to completion of all steps ?

    i'd say an absolutely safe margin is 1gb per 80min
