Is anyone else having problems with Newegg loading very slow at certain times of the day/night? I know they now have a website in China and Canada. :/ Or is it just me having the problem of the site loading slow or not at all

Haven't noticed any Newegg slowdowns, but you might run a speed test on your connection to rule that out: http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

I notice occasional internet slowdowns at 9PM and 12PM. Probably corporate data and financial transfers, East and West coast, done at midnight.

I don't think it's my connection but I do wonder if my cable router could be dying a slow death again. Or those slowdowns on the east and west coast could affect me since we are 3 hours behind on west coast and 5-6 on east coast.

You're not alone, budz. It may be their server...I don't know. I sometimes get very frustrated with their website.

Hadn't thought of it, but you may have just caught them as they were updating their server or doing maintenance on it. Though most sites will put up a notice when they do that. If you really wanted to know, you could send them a e-mail and ask. They seem to reply fairly quickly.

    this is cable...anyone have fios?

heh....after running quite a few more tests it seems the speeds are quite varied between different servers as well as repeated attempts on the same one....

lmfao! I'm not on dial up! I have Time Warner Roadrunner cable!....geez, when I posted the question about newegg it was about 7 or 8 pm hawaii time. I have no other problems with other online retailers sites loading quickly, it's only Newegg that loads so slow or it doesn't load at all!
