I've had this problem in the past on another computer. I can convert movies and burn them with no problem, then after about 10 conversions I can only watch the burned movies on my pc.
I have all the proper codecs. I have uninstalled winavi and reinstalled it, but still get the same error. I figure it has to be a program problem and not the computer. Any Help![]()

WinAVI is well known for problems and that's one reason most here don't recommend it.
I suspect it made some changes to your computer that uninstalling doesn't fix. There may be someone here more familiar with the program that can give specific advice, but I would try something else and see if you still have the same problem. If so, it may be somewhere else in the process.
If you are doing AVI type conversions to DVD, try FAVC. It's freeware. There are also other freeware All-in-One converters in our tools section. For payware, ConvertXToDVD is about the most trouble free simple conversion program.
And welcome to our forums.
