Hi,
I have an asf music concert clip (2 hours long) and it playes perect on my video players.
When I import the clip to either windows movie maker or NERO VISION to cut it into smaller clips, the video plays fine when I preview it but when I export the clip in either program, most of the time I get audio sync issues. Either the audio is delayed or ahead of the video and it looks like the singers are lipsyncing.
The clips will start without any sync issues and then I notice that the video starts to get ahead of the audio and thus the sync issues.
Is there away to avoid this issue?
Thanks

Thanks Baldrick. This tool is great for cutting the asf file into smaller clips.
I can play the clips fine using WMP (no audio sync issues). But when I try to convert them to another format using NERO, SUPER or WMM, the new video produced comes out with the audio sync.
Also, if I upload the asf clips to youtube, then the audio sync issues show up as well.
Not sure what is causing this issue.
Any idea? -
Thanks

very well outside of the ASF container.Fortunately you're dealing with a "simple"
stereo WMA, for which the "Winamp trick" should work:

HTH. Good luck! -
Thanks Midzuki. So what do I do after I extract the audio file?
Is there away to resync it to the video and convert to another format?
Again the asf file(s) play perfect on my video players but when I try to comvert them to another video format or upload them to youtube, I get the sync issues. -
OK, I should have guessed you'd ask that question. My bad.
Midzuki
OUCH!
Seriously now: you'll have to convert the video separately from the audio,
then you'll have to mux the new video with the audio gotten from the Winamp~method.
I'd recommend Avidemux and VirtualDub instead of Nero and Super.
Besides, WMV can be *variable frame rate*, which
would require the use of Avisynth as well.
