    i am looking into convert a certian 4 cd svcd set in to 2 650-750 meg avi files preferably with a divx codec. any help would be appreciated. i have already tried to use dvd2avi, but i had no luck. thanks

    hey, what movie is it, i just did one and got a good result.

    This may not be the best way, but i used dvdtoavi and made a huge divx file and mpa file as my base. Used winamp to convert it to wav. Then used virtualdub to make a 2-pass divx file. I am very pleased with the result.
