Hi there i wonder if anyone can help me get this lot set up properly.

I have a 8 yr old tv which has got 2 scart connections on the back plus a L/R audio plugs on it aswell(rear).
On the side of the tv it has a s-video,plus the standard yellow(video in) plus L/R audio plugs.

My home cinema(with built in dvd player) has no scarts just the following HDMI out,L/R audio in plus yellow plug(video out).
It also has something called component out cables red(pr),blue(pb) and green (y).
Plus it has a digital audio in(optical).

My freeview box has the standard 2 scarts but also a SPDF/out(can this be used to connect to the home cinema digital audio in(optical) maybe?

My hdd media player has only L/R audio and Yellow video connections.

Basically what i want to try and achieve is to be able to get all sound either from freeview, hdd media player,tv plus home cinema come from the home cinema speaker system.

Also of course to get picture coming thru tv from either the freeview.home cinema(dvd player) plus hdd media player.

Sorry if i've put this in the wrong section. Please move if needed!

Many thanks for all your help in advance!

Just read this on my Samsung home cinema website.

How do I get my TV, Sky/ Cable, VCR, etc, sound to come out of all the speakers on my Home Theatre System?

Please connect phono leads (Red, White cables) from the AUDIO IN on the HTS to the AUDIO OUT on the TV, Sky, etc. Once connected switch the HTS onto AUX channel. (you may need to press the button more than once as there's a possibility of two connections, AUX 1, AUX 2).

Can someone explain how i do this with my set up.

    Thanks
