Hi there
Sorry if this is the wrong place or this problem has already been solved somewhere else, I have tried to look to find the solution but have had no joy.
I am buring .avi files to DVD using Windows DVD maker. They burn to disc fine and then seem to play in my DVD player ok until up to about 50 mins into the film when it just stops playing.
I am totally new to this and I am sure it's just something simple that I am doing wrong but would really appreciate some input into this problem.
Cheers
Rose

It could be a media problem so I would try another media brand.
Does they work on your computer with software dvd player? -
I had a problem like that, and i noticed that my standalone dvd-player doesent play avi files biger than 1G(1000MB).
So, whenever i played avi file biger than 1G, it play's until that moment in
which the avi ''becomes'' biger than 1G
Example, the avi is 100min long, but 1100MB big, so the dvd player will play only the first 90minutes or until it reaches near 1000MB.
So, i just recompres the avi to get it smoler than 1000MB, and it play's ok.
(sory for my bad english) -
