On few occasions, when Quicktime plays an MIDI sequence, it always begins with a loud hiss for about less than half a second. Are there any ways that I can fix this?

It's been my experience, though, that if whatever wavetable (hardware or software) setup you're using to play MIDI doesn't have the necessary sound/definition/etc. to play a certain instrument from a song... you just won't hear that track. It wouldn't hiss if you're simply missing the sound.
If I remember correctly, Quicktime installs its own wavetable setup.
jonghyunchung: Have you tried going into the Audio tab in the Quicktime Preferences and experimenting with the options, there? If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
