  1. Hello guys,

I want to make a DVD containing 3 trailers for the television apartment in my store.
The trailers are the 3 world of warcraft cinematics and 100mb each, 1280/768 res, so it's perfect for HD playback.

The most important things are to keep the quality and make the trailers repeat everytime the 3rd is finished.

Now I have been using DVD-lab a few years ago, but I want to ask you what you recommend for this progress today.

PS: I guess that I still can keep the HD quality eventhough it's on a dvd?

If you want hd you can't make dvd-video. You must make blu-ray or hddvd. But you can burn blu-ray video on a DVD but you need a blu-ray player that supports it like the PS3. Or get a HD media center for your tv and you basicly just have to burn the files on the dvd and they will probably work directly.

  3. Thanks!

The thing is that the files are in .avi and .wmv format but the resolution is 720p.
I have dvd and bluray players at service so it doesn't matter to me, but I think that the files could fit on a dvd 4,7gb disc.

My question is just whether I need to convert them into a specific format and how I can make the repetitive playback while still in 720p HD.

You would have to author them for Blu-Ray ready to burn on a DVD. This will entail re-encoding to something suitable (H264 ?) along the way. You will need one of these : https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/authoring-bd-hd-dvd

If you want to see what it will look like as a standard DVD, throw the clips into FAVC and burn the results.
