Hoping for a quick last-minute tip...

Running RC of windows 7 on a netbook.

DVD's ripped on a mac and encoded using the elegato turbo 264 play fine...

That is, unless I clip a scene out of them and save it as a h.264 file using quicktime pro. It works fine on the mac.

Leaving at 9am in the morning tomorrow on a 8 day road trip and was expecting these clips to work. Anyone have any ideas? Is there another codec I should install? It is all default windows 7 at this point.

    cheers...

    Jason

FWIW - I installed quicktime and the videos play fine there - just not in media center. Is there a way to force media center to use the apple codecs?

  3. Try ffdshow's h.264 decoder.
