I want to rip the video from my dvd to the computer, with no audio. Also, is the a program where you don't have to rip the entire disc, but just certain parts? For example, if one scene/chapter is 21:00 minutes long, could I just rip out 3:00 to 4:00? Lastly, it would be preferred that the output would be WMV so it is easier to edit in premiere CS3.

Off topic: I just installed premiere Cs3 today so a lot of it is confusing. Does anyone know where I could download a manual?

Use dvd shrink in the reauthoring and cut out the clip. Save. Rename the .vob file to .mpg and open in Premiere.
