I have a wedding video about 10 minutes on a DVD, I would like to know how I can take out that video from the DVD and put it on my computer, so that in the future I can upload it to youtube for my friends to watch. Thank you for your help.

Re-encode it to something else. It's "so big" because it's an MPEG-2 file using typical bitrates.

    By "typical bitrates" lordsmurf means
    "anything greater than 8000 kbps".

get a converter that does flv. convert to 320x240 resolution with MP3 audio.

riva still offers a free version on the download page.

For this disc, probably so. I imagine it's in the usual 1-2 hour range.
