Hello all. After following some great advice and experimenting I have finally gotten my WinTV Go card to work. Here are the problems and fixes for those with problems:
1. Driver not working, can't capture at anything above 320X240:
Chuck the XP drivers! Go out and get the w2kdrv311 driver. First use the utility that clears everything and make sure you select to clean all! After doing this restart. Install the above driver as described on the Hauppauge site unplugging your connection if applicable. This should fix the problem and correct problems with capture driver problems.
2. No audio:
You MUST go to the volume control on Entertainment Accessories, go to the recording options, select line-in, and then hit OK. After this you MUST select line in. Basically you have to enable and the select the correct input. You CAN NOT merely select all the inputs, this just makes them available for adjustment, you must the go and check line-in as the source.
I have another problem that I have posted in another post and if you can help me please check it out. Thanks.
