There's a new Magnavox 160GB HDD recorder sold by Wal-Mart online for $237 and it appears to be a clone of the Philips DVDR3576H/37.
Two of the most noteworthy differences:
1. It records DIGITAL CC.
2. It replaces Pause Live TV with "Autostart Recording"... 6 hours continuous, temporary rec. that can be watched while still recording or saved to HDD at any point in the past 6 hours.
Pics and a list of differences are here.
