    Hi to all,

I am newbie to video world so i hope im not in the wrong place to ask these questions

I have captured 2 tapes (approx 1h45min) recorded in Sony HDV camera through Sony Vegas pro 8 and it has created .m2t files.

1st since i dont have Blu-Ray recorder and i have PS3 i want to convert these to the BEST quality (HD) possible even if it requires 10 DVDs, so i want to have it on DVD.

2nd i want to keep a copy on a PS3 also in best Quality possible but compressed to Divx or Xvid or whatever format you prefer.

and 3rd convert to a DVD format that can be played on any dvd player.

    Thank you.

For the PS3 you should encode to H264 with ACC audio. For DVD you don't have a lot of choices, so you may as well use the mainconcept mpeg-2 encode that ships with Vegas to encode the file to DVD spec.
