"It's all in guides..."
1st of all, are you being a good boy and using TMPGEnc? What do your settings look like? For a 2 hour flick, and you are only making a standard vcd, the default template for vcd should be all you need. If you are changing the bitrate and trying to make a s or x vcd, that's where your problem lies.
In TMPGEnc =
Set your video (.d2v from dvd2avi) and audio (.wav) inputs
Hit load -> Video CD
Load -> extra -> unlock
Setting -> video (tab) -> set aspect ratio and use CBR with 1150 bitrate
advanced (tab) -> set aspect ratio and video arrange
set source range, for 1st disc, (beginning to approx 65min)
-leave GOP structure and Quantize matrix alone, for a standard vcd you don't have to do anything-
audio (tab) ->MPEG-1 audio layer II -> frequency 44100 -> drop the bitrate down to 128 or 160, whichever you prefer (I haven't found it necessary to use higher than 128, personally, but some will argue with this)
and click ok!
And then start your encode......
Many people have different variations and settings they like to use, but for a standard good allaround movie, this will work......
CHEERSRemember when the only way to see a movie uncut was to go to the theatre?
