I read the post of another member, however I know it is rude to start posting one's issues in their thread and so I have started my own. I hope that this is correct manners in this Forum and that I am not doing something wrong.
I googled and found that if one entered"www.kissyoutube and the rest of the URL that the Clip would d/l.
Well is sort of did onto my desk top, however the Clip is not in its entirety and plays a portion and then restarts from the beginning.
Also the "play" arrow is there and all I wanted was the Clip and then I wanted to burn it onto a dvd that can be used on a multimedia player "BenQ PB6110".
I am responsible for a short intermission break for one of our community groups and have been asked to do this and nothing about this at all?
I only want to be able to save the actual "youtube clip" and burn it to Dvd, however don't know what formats. I have googled the model the specifications do not tell me much.
The multi media player is not here with me it is 600 miles away and the community centre where this will be held told me to simply hook it up via USB from my notebook....however I thought that was for data.
I am sorry to ask so many silly questions, however I want to start off on the right foot.
    Thank you for your time.

  3. the video format youtube uses is flv. it's highly compressed and makes a fairly bad source for dvd spec video.

If it is highly compressed does this mean that I will not get a good quality d/l that I can then burn onto a dvd?
Also since I use IE7 as my browser for work purposes and have used it for personal use, does it overtak my IE7 which I am required to use.
As you can see I am definitely not tech savvy here and apologize.
And I am not even certain how I go about burning the saved file of 'youtube' to a dvd with Nero 6.6.0.18.
I have always simply burned a copy of a dvd before.
Thank you again for your time.

  5. firefox can be installed as a second browser. you can keep i.e.7 as your default. youtube .flv videos look fair on a computer screen but if you blow them up to tv size they are mostly bad. if you are going to do a bunch of them it might be worth trying/buying convertxtodvd. it's easy and does a good job.
