Hi,
i have a (veteran now?) Canon MV 830i. it has a cool interface with AV and DV (firewire) out, which i use a lot: its real drawback is a minimum focal range of 3 feet / 1 meter, at full zoom - and i sometimes want to crop right in on zoom (x20 zoom)
guess there are two solutions - find a more powerful zoom or / and find a cam with a better minimum focal length: i have an ancient Panasonic analogue cam, for example, which will tolerate a minimum 28" / 0.7m, on full zoom (times eight), before the focussing becomes an issue
any suggestions for an upgrade to the MV 830, please - keeping the basic connectivity, but improving on the minimum focal range, at full zoom setting?
thanks
Ric
