Without changing the output to PAL which makes the picture and sound noticably worse.
I want to record introns and endings to games, as well as certain parts of me playing it but as the majority of my games are NTSC I cant or have to suffer with slowdown.
I know NTSC to PAL convertors exist but they just slow down the pic dont they? I want to record as NTSC
I did have a recorder that did it but the burner died and I got a replacement.

PAL DVD recorders generally don't support NTSC recording (unless multi-system).
You can always buy an NTSC model but then your TV needs to be multi-system.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

Not gonna happen. It's doubtful that what you are seeing is true NTSC.....what you are seeing is most likely a quasi signal....and finding a recorder that will record a quasi signal has....to my knowledge.....never been documented.
Besides....NOBODY wants to see you playing a video game. They have the same game too and there ARE people in the world who are better than you at that game.....get over it and stop cluttering video sites with that crap. -

I simply wanted to record game endings at high quality so I dont have to play through games to see the ending or see low quality versions on youtube(plus I dont always have internet) -
Dekaspace - You need a DVD recorder that can record a PAL 60 signal, which I'm sure is what your games are producing. guns1inger seems to have your answer, although why he couldn't have just told you a model number, I don't know. You'll have to check Pioneer models in the UK and see if any are capable of recording a PAL 60 signal. I would suggest looking online to see if a Pioneer UK site can tell you which models support PAL 60. I would not trust a salesperson to tell you the truth and I'd demand to see the product manual prior to buying to confirm support for PAL 60.
