    Then use AVIRecomp.

And if you want more help with autogk you MUST give us MORE MORE MORE information. What does not work? Any errror message? More information about your avi source.

You could try being a little more specific, and perhaps using more letters when you type. I hate trying to read code when there are so many perfectly good words available.

So then, what you want to do is take a possibly good rip and make it a bad rip. Over compressed kind of like the way you type.

You did type something that MIGHT have meant that you stopped the process after one hour. That would do it. Real good. Might not even play in VLC. And since it was stopped early it wouldn't have the sound muxed in.

Please do drop the pseudo leet speak. Its not elite. Its just hard to read. The idea here is to help each other, not to show that you are a member of a tribe of 13 year olds that think they know all about computers yet have virus infected PCs.

You are not ripping - you are completely re-encoding the video, and probably the audio. 3 hours seems about right for a movie. What do you expect ?

    Seems likely. Learns slow too.

I keep this in mind. The first person I knew in high school to graduate from college was retarded. Not figuratively but very much literally. If he could learn anyone that has learned to stop drooling can.

Of course they have to want to.

guns1inger, not surprisingly, has it right you are re-encoding not ripping. It takes time. You didn't give your first attempt enough time to finish at least based on what little you said. Hard to tell though.

By the way, even Hebrew has vowels now. Learn to love the vowels. You use them when you talk I bet. Try typing them. I bet they are on your keyboard so no cording is needed.

Anyway a movie on one cd tends to have poor quality. Blocking becomes something you can't avoid if there is much movement. The resolution is usually knocked down considerably from the original. Now if you are converting for a Ipod or even a PSP then you can get acceptable quality for the player. But for a PC or even a standard television it will be quite poor.

Unless of course you like blocks. Then go for it. The Lego version of Star Wars is a good game.

Oh for maximum compression you could try this version of Star Wars.

Of course he has been re-encoding for quite a while now. He is up to Luke meeting Leia in her cell. A mere eleven years in the process but the bit rate is phenomenally low. You must try this method out for your next attempt to re-encode.

Of course, to do this you MUST learn to use vowels.
