VCD Playback on stand alone Toshiba DVD Player

Hi,

I just copied a VCD using exactly the same type of disc (knowng that the source disc plays fine on the dvd player), and the copy plays back very'blocky, jerky and the audio is out of line with the picture.

Anyone got any ideas.

I was using a datasafe CDR (this type definitely works on my player)
Writing at the slowest possible speed - X2
Reading at X40.
Using Nero 5.5.5.1
