I have 2 AVI files that I need burning to a DVD and was thinking of getting convertxtodvd to do it with.

Is it possible to convert both files to a dvd format then burn to 1 disk playable in my dvd player?

Simple answer: Yes, but more than 2 hours isn't ideal quality wise.

You can go the freeware route with FAVC. It also allows you to create a simple DVD Menu.

Like ZippyP said though, if combined they total over 2hrs, quality will suffer.

    EDIT:
If your original avi's are good quality, using HC as your encoder should give very good results.
