I need to know if anyone knows of a piece of software that does what I need. I need it to take a bunch of wmv clips and mix them together with background music and the ability to some text to the screen. Basically I am trying to make a music video, but can't find the software to do what I want. Any suggestions? Thanks.

There are many editors, it depends what format you want to end up with.
Look under "LISTS/Tools", left side of this page. Lots of choices.

What I mean is, you want to be able to play it on DVD player or just on computer?

Windows Movie maker is already on your machine and is built specifically for editing WMV videos.

Listen to guns1inger. Use Windows Movie Maker. Newer thought of that one since I deleted it from my machine.
