    Hey,

I just started trying to burn VCDs yesterday. I did the conversions and everything seemed to go fine. When I burned the VCD, it played just fine in my computer. When I tried to play it one of my DVD players, nothing - it tried to read the CD for about 30 seconds and then rejected it (Sony & Toshiba).

From what I can gather, I think I should try another brand of CD-R. Or better yet, try a CD-RW first. I'm using Imation 24x discs. I tried burning at 16x and 4x - just to see if that was the problem. Anyone have any experience with these?

Let me know what brand and kind of CD-Rs are working best for you. What color dyes are best/worst? Anything that could help...

    Thanks!

    Evan
