printable discs in non-print burner

Probably a stupid question but I've never used printable discs.

Is there any problem using verbatim ink jet printable discs in a non-printable burner?

I've got LG 855 & Pioneer 115d burners.

As far as I know, burners that "print" use lightscribe discs not inkjet printables, and yes you can use them to burn as I am guessing that the data side is identicle?

There's no such thing as a "printable burner". Ink jet printable discs are printed on printers. The printing of a label and the burning of data are unrelated. victoriabears is right that there is no difference in the data side between ink jet printable discs and what I guess we could call "normal" (non-printable) discs, so burn away without fear. You can print nothing on the label, write on it with a Sharpie (or similar pen) or try to borrow a printer and put a label on it later.

Thanks for clearing that up.

I'll give the verbatims a try. Might as well as I find myself making marks with a sharpie on non-print discs tho I keep it to a minimum.
