I can see and capture video no sweat but even watching the tv on my computer or capturing there is no audio I have it hooked up internally and for the life of me can't figure out why I can't get audio while watching tv or in captures
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

There should be a little drop down box that lets you select CD-Audio, Line-In etc. I don't know how you have connected things up so try them all until one works. Also, in your Windows sound contols, make sure line-in etc aren't muted.

I'm sure you have already check, but I will say it anyway, (I forgot this my self) you have to run a small audio cable from the ATI card , audio out, to sound input on your Sound Card. If not be sure to double check all your Sound Card setup to be sure that the Mute is not checked.

Yep I've done that too
would it make any difference if my sound card was built on the motherboard compared to say a sound blaster card?>

besides that drop down box, did you try double click on the little speaker in the tray down below? The line in might have the mute checked.
