My a03 recorder will NOT load media for some reason. It just
keeps blinking. I've tried all kinds of cdr, cdrw, dvd-r, and
dvd-rw types. It worked fine for 3 days, then a few nights
ok, it just started acting up.

Anyone know how i get this thing repaired? I have called
numerous repair paces in the NYC area, but none of them
do PC based repairs, only Pioneer stereo equipment.

I cant seem to find my warranty card, and this is unit is
    approx 45 days old.

    thanks

  2. I'd try calling Pioneer support directly, check their web page.

thanks, i've tried that, but been on hold twice now for over
30 mins, to speak to someone. The voice system will only
allow you to get your local repair place.

  4. I've had the same problem, intermittently - I went to "My computer" and had to right click to eject media that it wouldn't spit out. Have you added any other hardware since the pioneer? That might be causing a conflict - at the moment I'm having all sorts of problems for that very reason. having updated to XP, my pioneer won't start..
Try unistalling anything that you have installed and see if that helps - also check that the media that you've put in is compatible (I accidentally loaded a DVD+RW disc and it just blinked forever...)

Hope you have more luck than me

Nick, thanks for the reply. I'm NOT having trouble ejecting
media. My problem is that no media will LOAD. The light
just keeps blinking. Nothing else was installed after the
Pioneer. One day it just started acting weird.

All the media is media i have sucessfully used in the past,
    for multiple burns.

Finally spoke to Pioneer, who advised that something is wrong,
and to return the unit to the store for repair or replacement.
