I have the Samsung DVD-R120 and it works great! But I was wondering if I could swap out the existing DVD drive with a DVD-DL drive. Is this possible would the system recognize the dual layer drive and record to dual layer disks which would increase record times? Or is it a bad idea.
Thanks

The hardware/firmware would also need to support the DL drive. Since this model didn't ship with DL drives, it likely won't recognize the media and/or be able to burn the second layer.
