I am not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but I'll try it.
Up until recently, I had a dialup internet connection and didn't have the option of watching TV episodes online. I'd like to try that to see how well it works for me now, but at least some of the sites ask you to download their player first. Before I do that, are these things spyware/adware, and can I remove them easily if I don't want to keep them around? The sites I would be using are major broadcast/cable network sites like FOX, ABC, NBC, FX, USA, etc.
Thanks for your input.
