I'm trying to rip a several (lots) DVDs that have 6 titles (two copies of 3 titles, each with 8 audio track languages). What I'd like to do is have it rip each chapter in each language to it's individual chapter. Using HandBrake takes forever to select the right chapter and language. It's just a mess. Is there another freeware (or even paid) program that would do this easily (ripping at high quality)? I've tried searching Google and can't find quite what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance!

It seems that you have done little research on this and just simply jumped in with the first easy tool you could find and hoped for the best. What is your goal? To simply rip chapter by chapter? Or to rip and then encode? If you want to encode to another format after you rip, you could potentially (depends on the studio that made the DVD) use the old DVDDecrypter in IFO mode to rip chapter by chapter and rip all audio tracks. Then you would just encode each chapter video and select the audio you want 8 different times. If you want to split each chapter into 8 different files with different audio I don't know of any way to do that other than you would have to rip 8 times per chapter. Other programs may be able to rip chapter by chapter but DVDDecrypter is the easiest way I know of to do it.
I can't imagine any legal reason why anyone would go to so much trouble but if you'd care to dazzle me with some reason that I haven't thought of, I'd love to read it. If you're just doing this to file share some kind of anime with the world, maybe you don't really need to support all 8 languages. -
Thanks for your help jman98,
Prepare to be dazzledSo my church (mormon.org) has what's called General Conference every 6 months. It's broadcast to over 83 countries and translated into over 80 languages during the broadcast. So, I'm lucky I only have to worry about 16
I'm just trying to rip my copy of the DVD to my computer. Each chapter is represents a different address. There are around 20 or so per conference. And I have several conferences. This is obviously a big project! So something that could rip each address in every language separately without me having to queue up every one that would be nice! I'm trying DVDPE Pro right now, but the quality isn't all that great... Thanks for the help!
P.S. I tried DVDDecrypter IFO mode, but then I still have to do a bunch of clicking to select the right language and I have to organize everything with the right language. I have several conferences to go through, so it's just annoying to have to do that. I'd spend hours on it.Last edited by kentmgf; 23rd Sep 2011 at 11:33.
