Earlier this evening I captured about 1.5 hours of video from TV continuously and ended up with a .mpg file that's 4.53gb in size. (I used an analog capture card, a Dell External USB tuner, and Roxio Creator) The problem I have is when I go to watch the video back, or edit it, it should be approx 1hr 35min, but Windows Media Player and TMPGEnc DVD Author are both saying it's only 21min 54sec long, and stops once it's reached that point. I can watch the whole thing in VLC Media player, so I know the video is definitely all there, and not 21min 54sec. I want to edit the file and burn a DVD, but none of my programs can get past the 21min 54sec mark.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can "unlock" the entire video so I can edit/burn it or what programs I should be using??

Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do to fix it?

Videoredo, using the quick stream fix.

Or try free tools like projectx or pvastrumento and demux to audio and video files that you can import in tda.
