Dear All,
I like to compile a DVD of our church's baptizing ceremony as a souvenir to those to be baptized.
I plan to have the below simple things:
1) once the DVD is inserted, an home page will be open automatically, which consists of some pictures, texts, links to MP3 / photo album files;
2) MP3s/ Photo files are stored in the DVD.
a) how to prescribe the drive letter for the link address for those in the DVD?

Will Nero Express 6 be sufficient to do the Job?
What else tools and/or info I need (to Know/get)?
Any suggestion of some Templates that I can browse?
Thanks.

If you want to make DVD discs that will play in everyone's home DVD player, the disc will need to have a DVD-compliant file architecture to it. This involves a more complicated authoring process than you're probably aware of. There is much, much more to it than placing jpeg photos and mp3 audio files on a disc. If you have no video footage, I suggest you create a slideshow CD disc, instead of a DVD. And no, I don't think Nero Express 6 will be much help in terms of authoring a DVD, other than burning the final authored program to each disc.

You can try Nero Vision to do it.
Create a slide show first and than import video. Problem will be mp3 sound, because DVD does not play that format, either LPCM(wav) or ac3.
Hope Nero can convert mp3 to wav or ac3, but not sure about that, you just have to try.
Nero will let you make a simple menu to navigate to what is on your DVD.
