I had to reinstall Windows on my desktop recently and when I tried to open a project from a portable hard drive that I began on my laptop using the same version of Vegas 8 reinstalled on my desktop my keyframe markers in the project aren't there. The text in that shot fades in and out and I used keyframes to make it do that. Now the part at the bottom of the window where the keyframe markers should be isn't present on my desktop installation of Vegas. Is there some option I need to check or do I have a bad installation?

Just move your mouse over the bottom line of the effect window.
When it changes to a line, drop this up (like drag and drop). Your keyframes are just hidden.
But with the help of your mouse, you can drag the hidden windowpart back to be visible.
A lot of people having this problem recently
