Hi there,
Right, I am from the UK and therefore have a PAL DVD Player. So when ripping to VCD, I normally choose the option 16:9 625 (PAL) when encoding widescreen to VCD for the Source aspect ratio. If I choose just 16:9 Display, will it still play on my DVD Player. What are the difference between there 2.
Cheers.

When specifying the type of Wide Screen the encoding is more optimized for your TV type, when selecting the 16:9 Display, the aspect ratio is optimized according to the movie itself, not on what it will be played.
