I updated about 16 security updates, 3 general windows updates, and a few .net fixes and an update to WMP11 and drivers for my nic and modem cards.
basically anything that MS has published in the past 8 months.
Before I go digging through MS notes, can anyone give me an idea which of these is causing my DVD player to not play DVD's correctly under sonic, nero or WMP?
The video stutters, and the audio is choppy. It worked fine the day before the updates.
thanks in advance

How long is a piece of string ?
Take a look at Windows Task Manager while trying to play a dvd and see which process(s) are eating up CPU resources. -

But like Bjs said, def worth upgrading your graphic card drivers.
If you where running vista id say thats what it was, but ive also had that in the past with xp.
