  1. Hi, All

Have a strange problem, i'm trying to make a SVCD cd that is also possible to read in a normal standalone DVD player.

With Nero i shall burn it. 5.5.7 using the newest version. Using the following options :

SVCD mpeg2 file inserted in box.
Writing with 4x, disc at once, disc name also in place, fit to disk 80, write immediatly and finalize disk.

This makes a nice disc for me that i can play on my computer but it doesn't play in a DVD player.

When i do exactly the same and i write it at 8x speed, than Nero gives me at the end a error. The disk is very badly accessibly in my computer with reading or playing but i can also play it in the DVD player but there also the problem of difficult reading, many read erros and so. But i have picture at that moment.

What is wrong here. Do you need to burn a SVCD with 8 x speed to play it on a DVD Player or do i need instead of Disc at Once, Track at once or something else

    Greetings

When Nero starts it comes up with a "New Compilation" box. Make sure you are choosing "Super Video CD" in the left column.

If Nero complains about your MPEG file then it isn't SVCD compliant. Read the "HOW TO" guide (on the left of this page) for complete step-by-step instructions.

  4. Hi,

Nero is not complaining about a mpeg that is not SVCD compatible so that is good.
