  2. What format are you converting to? (mp3, aac, etc...)?

Did you set up the program paths in MeGUI?

Are you using the latest version?

  4. Please answer my questions:

    1) What format are you converting to? - this makes a difference if you didn't set it up correctly

    2) Did you set up the program paths?

    3) Does the video conversion work? (and only the audio conversion doesn't work)?

I am using 0.3.0.1004. You can set auto-update servers to "development"
(options => settings => extra config tab => configure servers => drop down menu "development")

  6. Hi Xcamera,

You have to use the MeGUI d2v creator, and select the "demux all audio tracks" option. This will separate out an AC3 audio file.

Use that AC3 file to input into MeGUI's audio portion (you can't plug in a .d2v or .vob)

Make sure your dgindex is up to date using the development server (version 1.50b10-1)

    Cheers

    hello poisondeathray,

after demx VOB file, I get 3 audio file.
Do I need to creat d2v script again ?
for convert I need AVI script, and to make AVI script, I should make D2V script ?

  8. For the video portion, the same .d2v should be used as input in the avisynth script creator.

For the audio portion, you use the demuxed audio files from the d2v creator ("demux all audio tracks") as input for the audio encoder. You don't have to include all audio tracks if you don't want in the final container.

To keep things in sync you should use the .d2v input and generated audio files from the same session (not from one you did before). You shouldn't have to create .d2v twice (unless you did it wrong the first time from another session when you already encoded your video)

    hello poisondeathray,

I creat .d2v file to demux all adio file, so i have 3 ac3 file after demux
I use this .d2v file to creat avs file.
in section video, I put .avs file
in section audio, I put first ac3 file. megui ask me to rename ac3 audio file.
I queue video and audio, so my problem is audio do compressing but never stop(more than 6 hours), seen like it doesn't switch to second file ?
do you have any ideal about it?

  10. Are you converting AC3 => AAC audio? If so, did you set the neroAacEnc.exe program path correctly in the set up?

Try mp3 for now just to troubleshoot, to see if it's the AAC causing the problem or something else

Did you update to the development version? 0.3.0.1004 and get all updates?

How do I keep the original sound without compress with megui ?

  12. AC3 is not completely compatible in .mp4 container, so you should use .mkv container

So all you do is use the .mkv muxer in the tools menu and select your encoded video, and original audio.

Another option is to do this with mkvmergegui in the mkvtoolnix set

    Cheers
