  1. I have tried to download a film and put it on VCD but still keep geting the same terrible results.
I've tried AVI2VCD and also virtual dub, tmpgenc, and vcd easy but still keep getting films that are either jumpy in movement or lips are not in sync with voice. Can someone please help me and explain where Iam going wrong in terms a 47 year old can understand.

The best place to start is to read all the "WHAT IS" andf "HOW TO" guides on the left of this page. That's where I started a few months ago. Also take the time to read many messages in these forums.

Lots of stuff from the 'net is way too poor a quality, even after reprocessing to produce decent (VHS tape) quality results. A rough guide is that VHS quality takes about 600-800 MB per hour (ignoring DivX)
