  1. i use alltoavi to convert a mkv file to avi but after conversion, the avi file's duration is only like 10min and the original mkv is 24min whats the problem????

    Could be anything - corruption in the mkv file, corruption in the video or audio stream, the way the mkv was packed, the way other crap in the mkv file was processed.

    When I hit a snag working with mkv files I usually unpack them with mkvextractGUI, then use mkvmergeGUI to build a new file with just the streams that I want. 9 times out of 10 that fixes the problem.

  3. hmm i just focus a bit when it was converting, i notice that for all the files(24) all stop converting when the persentage hit 50%. when alltoavi hit 50%, it just stop and work on the next one so could it be alltoavi's problem?? also is there a program that convert mkv video to avi video(VDUB dont work)

    You can try a ffmpeg frontend like winff, super, prism video converter.
