I am doing some DVD to Divx conversions and following the Gordian Knot guide by dap & JS (I'm a newbie). Running fresh/recent installs of Gk codec pack and Gk rip pack. Everything seems fine except after the video encode is finished and vdub muxes the audio, it shows a "VirtualDub error" message box with this text: "Cannot complete file 'AudioTrack.mp3': the handle is invalid."
I haven't had a problem playing any of the avi files, so this doesn't seem to have any effect other than making it impossible to queue 10 jobs and let it run while I sleep. I can't find any information about this error.
My source mp3 is encoded separately with LAME 3.97 at -V2. Is the vbr a problem for vdub? I can post a log if it would be of any help. I would like to keep vdub's message box from interrupting the encodes.
