    I have a good deal of vieos on my hd that are in WMV format. How can I convert them to a format to play on my stand alone DVD player? Thanks and sorry if this is too elementary. -John in San Antonio

    One easy way is ConvertXtoDVD.

    Version 2 is easier than version 3.

    Convertxtodvd is easy to use and a good option.

    A freeware alternative similar in functionality would be FAVC
