I asked him how this could be since only the first 10 seasons have been released by Fox.

Here was his reply

the answer is simple. the US only hAS 1-10 BuT THE us RELEASE in China are 1-18 they have many sets before we get them here or they are realsed sooner in specail editions in a lets say season 1 Of lst was realsed here first then second then third in china the first was here first but by the time the second was here they waited and realsed a lost season 1-3 all in one before we here in us could get it. thats how tank you and happy bidding

I think he full of shit. I believe many electronics are available in Asian countries earlier since they are mostly made by Asian companies such as Sony.
But why would Fox release 8 seasons of the show over seas first? I am thinking these are bootleg tv rips...

Can anyone confirm this is legit?

These are made from tv recordings. I know the person that made the set. As usual, it was made for fellow fans. But some ******* got one, and now he's lying and trying to sell it in an online auction.

Go report it to eBay as a bootleg.

Ebay won't do much about the bootleg dvds. I see some Ebay sellers selling stuff that is copyrighted by other countries such as Japan. Yet Ebay does nothing to these sellers because they're making money as well. It's a double standard.

Even pressed disc's can be "pirated"

Although i have seen american based show's get released oversea's before here, it's one/same season and maybe a couple of months in advanced, not 8 seasons

Australia and Europe routinely get full runs of shows that USA does not. But The Simpsons is not one of them, and China is pretty much a synonym for bootleg.
