Does anybody have any experience using diamond/trusilver CD-R's in DVD players that will normally play CD-RW but not CD-R? My understanding is the reflectivity of CD-R's is what prevents them from being played in a single laser DVD players (E.g. lower end Toshiba's). I also understand that the diamond/trusilver media is the closest a CD-R can get to a commercially pressed CD, which will play fine on most DVD players. Has anybody tried to play VCD from a diamond CD-R on a player that won't play other CD-R's with any success?
