How do I split a SVCD

I got a 1.6GB SVCD mpeg file and i want to slip it to fit onto CDR's.. All I come across are programs that have to do a convert into to split, is there something out there that would allow me to just split the file without having to reconvert

Use a mpeg editor like videoredo, mpg2cut2, mpeg-vcr, tmpgenc mpeg editor.
