  1. Have an archive thath fails to unzip for me..i however know it truly works
so im going throu my process-attempts from start to goal here, and if you then could shout if you locate the probably basic error im performing..it would be wery fun and appretiated

    The instructions i got

    696 MB zip file

"Download the three parts, join with HJSplitter
    and unzip using WinZip"

    File-Name.zip.001 type:7-Zip.001 (200 mb)

    File-Name.zip.002 type:002-file (126 Mb)

    File-Name.zip.003 type:001-file (200 mb)

HJ-split finds "File-Name.zip.001 type:7-Zip.001" in the folder and joins succesfully, the output i get from thath
    is "File-Name.zip" type:Winzipfile (200 mb)
(clearley wrong, HJ-output should not be same size, no surprise you get message "not valid archive" if try to unzip it after)

The only real cause i can come up with myself is thath zip.001 have the extension 7-Zip instead of just Zip, it's true thath i have setted 7-Zip as primary unpacking soft for all archive..but even after uninstalling it (after failing to uncompress this file) and use Win-Zip as suggested here, the extension is still 7- before the Zip, and could it be thath 7 in 001 screw this whole up? on the other hand im unsure if the file creator accually used 7-Zip ore if its only my computer thaths refering to it..still 7-Zip should and use to works as well as Winzip on all files so it talks little against this theory?
another desperate theory signed myself= Zip.003 have _ _ in the filename, the other two parts use just letters? can it affect?..right! enough amateur detective work now, i handle this case over to you now, im pretty sure you solve this

If you take the three files and add up the sizes you come up well short of the needed 696 MB, so it looks like you may be missing a part of the file.

Secondly, HJSplit obviously isn't joining anything if you are getting a 200MB and the first part is 200MB is size. For HJSplit to work, all three must have the same name up to the extension.
