Problem Installing Lame - I think I am going mad!

I am trying to install Lame to work with VirtualDubMod.

So I have downloaded the latest Lame release, extracted, then gone to the ACM folder, right clicked on the LameACM.inf file and selected Install.

System comes up with a can't find lameacm.acm file, and it does indeed seem to be missing. I have tried downloading the thing from 3-4 different places with no joy. Why I am not finding it. No-one else seems to be having this issue (I Have googled the world). Can someone please download the latest release and tell me it it is not there.

I think I am going mad!

I have tested downloaded above and they all contain the acm file.
