i just picked the dazzle II up yesterday. i have my
cable box connected to the dazzle and the audio connected
from the out on my dazzle to the audio in on my soundcard.
while previewing the tv on the PC, the audio is out of sync
but when i finish recording, everything is in sync. it's only
out of sync while previewing the recording. is this a
common problem with dazzle and is there anyway i can fix
it? thanks.

That is not a problem.
Previewing how the MPEG will look on the fly, takes A LOT of CPU power, you probably don't have a fast enought computer to keep up with the preview, which is why the video stutters along while the audio keeps going.
Probably 98% of the people on these boards don't have a fast enough computer to get the preview to look in sync. Probably need a dual 2ghz config to even get the Preview too look like it is an Overlay of the original source.
I don't even know if there are dual 2ghz boards out there.
Currently running a dual Ahtlon 1.4ghz config; too bad I dumped both my crappy Dazzles A LONG time ago.
That is a horrible MPEG-1 & MPEG-2 board when it comes to picture quality, time was though it is a almost convenient. "ALMOST!"
